About

Stephanie

as well as Telehealth sessions. In-person sessions are preferred for trauma work as the foundation of attunement and attachment are felt so much more when we share space versus over a screen.

I have been blessed to have worked in a variety of different settings that not only served many different populations but also shaped my clinical knowledge into the well-rounded machine, that I fine tune daily in my quest to learn, serve, and practice what I preach. I was 14 years old when I realized this is what I want to do and have worked hard ever since to accomplish this goal. Over time, I came to learn this was not just a goal or career path, but my purpose. My purpose was and is to aid in the greater healing of this world, more specifically those suffering that I cross paths with.

The lens that I see everything through is one of traumatic impact and attachment.  This is how I make sense of what most are going through and this is what led me on the path of being a trauma therapist. As a trauma therapist, I lean into the darkness that usually makes others uncomfortable & I help you navigate through it, not alone & isolated, but in a supportive & trusting relationship. My goal is to help you explore & identify your root issues, heal your trauma, learn tools, & move from a life of survival to one of balance & fulfillment.

I am passionate about promoting growth, helping individuals heal from trauma, finding balance, improving relationships, getting back to our real/authentic selves, and increasing quality of life.

I work indivdually with adults and adolescents primarily.

Experience

"The whole is something else than the sum of its parts" -Kurt Koffka (Gestalt Theory)

My experience is not just in what I've studied or where I've worked but in the richness each experience has provided me. There is nothing richer than the dynamics explored in various interpersonal relationships. I have been blessed to work with those from all walks of life. Violence is pervasive. Substance abuse is pervasive. Family conflict is pervasive. Mental illness is pervasive. Pain is pervasive. It affects every age, gender, race, geographical area, & socioeconomic status. My clinical experience in various settings has allowed me to walk with so many in their pursuit of healing.
